System requirements

Installation notes

  • AS-ProfiPlus 2008 will be  installed as usual under ../AS_APPLIC/AS-PPLus2008.
    See installation guide .
    Adobe AcrobatReader and Ghostsript 8.51 have to be installed if they are not !
  • If ASCAD-Standards are used, the file ../AS_APPLIC/AS-PPlus2008/macros/startup.mac has to be copied to ../ascad/extra/osd_drafting_16.x/ .

 

  • ATTENTION :
    If  AS-PPlus2007 are already installed, you should make a backup of the file startup.mac so the settings of the installation path, the temp directory and the displayed/current directory can be restored.
    The area ..\AS-PPlus2007\module\Atlas_Plot_Store_7.0\data should  be backed up, so company specific customizations can be adopted.
  • The area ..\AS-PPlus2007\module\Atlas_Plot_Modul_7.0\data should  be backed up, so company specific customizations can be adopted.

 

  • Variable : MENOEMPTYSELECTION=1 has to be set in the ME10-Startscript (me10.ini or me10.bat) !
  •  
  • First customize the file: ../AS_APPLIC/AS-PPLus2007/module/ATLAS_PLOT_MODUL_7.0/data/plotdefs_V15 (maybe adopt old entries from plotdef). After that you have to copy the file to the CoCreate Drafting 2008-base directory MEDIR/plotdefs !

     Do not customize osd_drafting_16.00/defaults.m it must stay original !
  •  
  • Customer specific plot settings have to be done in the files in directory ATLAS_PLOT_MODUL_8.0/data/ .
    see manual: ../ATLAS_PLOT_MODUL_8.0/readme.txt !

     
  • If AS-PPlus2008 is started in MIXED-LOOK the layout of the WUI-Face will be reset.
    This means that all user specific toolbars have to be reloaded within the file customize.m!
    If  the main toolbar should be loaded as iconbar  you have to set TOOLBAR_SHOW ICON and run UPDATE_VIEWPORT before loading AS-ProfiPlus2008!
